How to Listen, Learn and Lead
LISTEN to what you haven’t been hearing > LEARN how to correct your biggest mistake > LEAD with renewed commitment and courage
Most people think that Leadership is something you can add to a particular situation. Ironically . . . it starts by doing the opposite. Effective leadership starts with having the knowledge, skills and COURAGE to “absorb” what most people want to ignore. You can’t fix what you can’t find. The essence of leadership it having the courage listen . . . and then take action on what needs to be done!
Session one puts the focus on understanding and practicing techniques for “The Lost Art of Listening.” (This incorporates several elements from the half-day seminar of the same title.) Audiences have found this session to be fun; challenging; and, at least in some cases, life-changing.
Session two reveals secrets on how to “see the invisible and hear the unspoken.” More importantly . . . Participants roll up their sleeves and actually practice a coaching technique used by America’s top Executive Coaches. The closing session offers insight and inspiration by reviewing a few events that brings clarity to the concept that it takes courage to carry out any serious commitment. (Half-day seminar/workshop)
Note: There is also a Keynote version of this presentation.
